New General Managers Named for Automotive Services, Trucking Division, and Contract Administration Service
BOARDMAN, Ohio (January 18, 2022) — Buckeye Dealership Consulting, LLC. (Buckeye), a leading provider of reinsurance, F&I, warranty and service contract products, dealer education, consulting, and performance groups for independent automotive dealers, has reorganized to create new divisions for Automotive Services, Commercial Truck, and Contract Administration as continued growth requires additional direction and oversight.
Buckeye’s Automotive Division includes services to independent used vehicle retailers, while the Truck Division includes the company’s Truck Master Warranty operations. Truck Master Warranty offers extended service contracts to heavy-duty truck dealerships throughout North America. Specialty Administration Services provides Warranty, Service Contract, and GAP claims services to both Truck and Automotive industries.
Rob Fox, Buckeye’s CEO, said the move comes as the company has grown significantly and enhanced its products and service offerings to automotive retailers and the heavy- and medium-duty truck sales marketplace.
“As we continue to experience growth and enhance our offerings to dealers,” Fox said, “it’s important to have clarity in leadership and accountability. This reorganization and associated management changes will help us to continue to provide the level of service our customers expect.”
Shaun Petersen, executive vice president and chief legal officer, will serve as the general manager for the Automotive Services Group, which includes Buckeye’s recently developed Dealer Performance Groups.
Jason Gosnell, Buckeye’s senior vice president of Business Development, will remain in that position, and will focus his sales leadership on helping dealers maximize the value of their reinsurance program.
A.J. Johnson, Buckeye’s chief operating officer will serve as general manager of Specialty Administration Services as well as Truck Master Plus, the premier provider of warranties and extended service contract provider for heavy- and medium-duty trucks in the United States.
“It’s been a year of considerable growth and as we’ve added new personnel and services, it’s only natural to intensify our focus on our core businesses while simultaneously growing these new enterprises,” Fox said. “We have developed our 2022 plans to enhance existing services and roll out new products and services in both divisions as the year progresses.”
